From amateur to professional.
Kamaté, Mayé, Tagne, Bianay Balcot, Doucouré, Konaté and Hodiamont did not come through the academies of big clubs: they were playing for amateur sides, far from the radar of top-level football.
Fabio Sommella spotted them on the pitch, recognised in each of them a profile to develop and opened a door into professional football: a first contract, a club of standing, a path built step by step. They were good enough to seize the opportunity.
